Note1 : Tickr is in Debian Wheezy (version 0.6.1) and experimental (version 0.6.3), as Wheezy is in freeze period. It is also in Ubuntu Raring (universe) and Ubuntu backports for Quantal, Precise, Oneiric, and Lucid, so you may install it with your distribution package manager. (List of available packages in Ubuntu here.)

on launchpad.net. To add one of these PPA to your system, simply type in a terminal:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:manu-tm/tickr

sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install tickr
