Note1: Tickr is in Debian Wheezy (testing) and in Ubuntu Precise (universe.) It is also in Ubuntu backports for Oneiric, Natty, Maverick and Lucid, so you may install it with your distribution package manager.
Note2: Due to a regression bug in version 0.6.0, 'Disable error/warning popup windows' parameter is always set to 'n' (no). This is fixed in version 0.6.1~beta1 (available beta versions are here.)
